The ITS team are actively involved in a broad range of IT and business projects.
A key organisational project we’re currently involved in is:
Te Aka Mānea
Over the next four years, the University of Waikato is replacing its Student Management System (SMS), Jade, and enhancing its Learning Management System (LMS), Moodle. This programme of work is called Te Aka Mānea.
The goal of Te Aka Mānea is to support a seamless student experience. From enquiry to enrolment, through each paper and on to graduation, students will need just one mobile-friendly portal to manage their qualification, and one online learning environment for their coursework.
Other key goals of the programme are to save staff time, increase digital engagement with students, improve efficiency to better convert and retain students, and unify student data in order to help inform decision making.
Visit the dedicated Te Aka Mānea website for information.
