The ITS Workshop is an authorised repair agent for a variety of vendors providing an on-campus repair service for University hardware, and acts as a liaison between the supplier and University departments for the repair and/or replacement of University ICT equipment.
Depending on the equipment, the problem and the warranty provisions, the ITS Workshop may repair on-site or forward to an approved external agent.
If you suspect a hardware fault with your computer you should log a job with the Service Desk in the first instance. Your local Client Technology Support Team will contact you to determine if the problem requires escalation to the ITS Workshop, and will arrange replacement equipment for you while yours is being repaired.
Equipment can be delivered to the ITS Workshop either in-person or by using the University Porters, ext 4001.
All requests for repair require an account code which can be provided in the logged job, or on the Service Request form attached to the hardware by your local Client Technology Support Team prior to delivery.
